President
The founder and president of LEW Learning, Leslie E. Wilson, has over 15 years of experience in the learning and development field, building a background from both in-house corporate and consulting perspectives.
In addition to her corporate experience, Ms. Wilson is the co-author of an exciting book about performance appraisals, which is called Ready-to-Use Performance Appraisals, published by John Wiley in Fall 2006. She has also written articles for various Hispanic publications on themes such as: negotiating, starting a business, and more.
Prior to starting LEW Learning, Ms. Wilson was the Manager of Professional Skills Development for UBS Financial Services, Inc. At UBS, she touched all aspects of the career and talent lifecycle for employees – from analysis to design/development, delivery and evaluation of learning programs. In this role, she led a team charged with overhauling the firm’s open enrollment training offerings and ran a firm-wide performance management training program. She also facilitated senior management meetings and managed the UBS mentoring program.
Before joining UBS, Ms. Wilson worked at Goldman Sachs, Inc., where she was a senior project manager and trainer, again specializing in performance management and communications skills. Prior to Goldman Sachs, her work experience was focused on international human resources, through a consultant role at ORC Worldwide and an account manager role at Ernst and Young, LLP.
Ms. Wilson has received numerous certifications from most of the well-known corporate training companies, including BlessingWhite, Personnel Decisions, Ridge Associates and Myers-Briggs. She earned her M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The Georgia Institute of Technology and her B.A. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to the U.S., she has consulted with clients in Europe, South America, Canada and Asia.
